2. What data we process and why
Server logs
Our hosting server automatically records technical data: IP address, time of visit, browser type and pages viewed. These records are used solely for website security and troubleshooting (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider and are not used to identify visitors.
Email correspondence
If you write to us at petras@domussolis.org, we process your name, email address and the content of your message in order to reply to your enquiry. Messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry, unless the law requires otherwise.
3. Cookies and local storage
Cookies
For visitors who are not signed in, this website itself does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising services. Third-party embedded content (see section 4) may set cookies only within its own frames.
If you create an account and sign in (members area), the website sets a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is essential for the service you requested, is not used for tracking or advertising, and therefore does not require consent. It is removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
Local storage
Your browser's local storage keeps a single technical setting: your theme preference (light / dark). This is not personal data and is never transmitted anywhere.
4. Third-party content
Some pages embed external content. When such a page is opened, your IP address is transmitted to the respective service:
- YouTube (videos) — we use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain: no cookies are set until you play the video. Google privacy policy.
- Google Maps (map in the contact section). Google privacy policy.
- Facebook (video plugins) — Meta may use cookies. Meta privacy policy.
5. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to: access your data, request its rectification or erasure, restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
